Technical Product Manager

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead and drive the development and expansion of our SIP Proxy, SBC, and SMS Router platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product strategy, driving cross-functional collaboration, and managing the product lifecycle.

Job Scope

What you will be doing?

  • Synthesize requirements from customers and internal stakeholders into coherent Product Requirement Documents.
  • Lead end-to-end product development, from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and launch, ensuring timely delivery and meeting market demands.
  • Act as subject matter expert and point of contact for SIP Proxy, SBC, and SMS Router product.
  • Perform technical discoveries and vetting on external integrations.
  • Analyze Cyber Security requirements and implement them to the products.
  • Translate company goals and customer insights into a product roadmap, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Define the work and create the team backlog into thoroughly defined and deliverable items without compromising quality standards.
  • Break down large initiatives to deliver value quickly and reliably.
  • Be on hand during outages to drive their resolution and conduct post-mortems to prevent future occurrences.
  • Assist pre-sales efforts and respond to technical RFIs, RFPs, etc.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to security.
  •  Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and business models to enhance the Linxa Platform's value.
  • Improve customer value by listening to customers and building great products.
  • Conduct user training and create product documentation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science, electronics engineering, industrial engineering, mathematical engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in the IT/Telecom sector.
  • 5+ years hands on experience in a Telco environment.
  • Experience with Voice, Video, VOIP network architecture and protocols such as SIP, RTP, SRTP, SMPP, and others.
  • Experience with SIP Proxy, SBC, SMS Router, SMSC etc.
  • Experience with IMS networks.
  • Experience with owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product and feature delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of SIP, 3GPP, SMPP standards.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security compliance, especially regarding GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, SOC2, CIS Benchmarks, and other relevant IT/Telecom industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
  • Experience in SIP & SMS traces and troubleshooting & debugging.
  • Have experience in unified communications and RCS products.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies including AWS, Redhat Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes.
